Patient Choices Vermont (PCV), founded in 2002, is a non-profit organization dedicated to end-of-life choice. PCV worked for more than ten years to achieve enactment of the law entitled Patient Choice at End of Life (Act 39). PCV seeks to educate Vermonters about end-of-life options and to influence policy, regulations and practice that affect the terminally ill. PCV’s mission resonates with thousands of Vermonters because our cause recognizes the importance of freedom of choice near the end of life.
